Jacob has developed an expertise in trust and estate taxes. He joined the firm in 2015 and has over eight years of experience with public accounting. Jacob has a BS in Accounting from University of Mount Union.

Mary Keelor Werner, CPA

Tax Manager

Mary has developed an expertise in individual, trust and estate, and corporate taxation. She joined the firm in 2012. She has over 40 years of public and private accounting experience. Mary has a BS in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University.

Jamie Breyette

Jamie Breyette

Tax Manager

Jamie has developed an expertise in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation. He joined the firm in 2020 and has more than 10 years of experience in public accounting. Jamie has a bachelor of science in accounting from the State University of New York at Fredonia.

Mercedes Rodriguez, CPA

Mercedes Rodriguez

Tax Manager

Mercedes has more than 20 years of experience in the profession and specializes in tax and accounting services. Her expertise lies in small to medium size businesses, professional practices, estates, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Lori K. Weisz, CPA

Lori K. Weisz, CPA

Tax Manager

Lori has developed an expertise in corporation, partnership, fiduciary, and individual taxation. She has over 20 years’ experience in tax and estate planning and compliance. She has a degree in accounting and business from Oral Roberts University and a Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota.

Michael Pollard, CPA

Michael Pollard, CPA

Tax Manager

Michael has over 10 years’ of experience in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida Gulf Coast University and an MBA from the University of South Florida. He has extensive expertise from small businesses to large multi-state entities.

Elizabeth Martinez

Elizabeth Martinez

Tax Manager

Elizabeth serves as Tax Manager in our North Palm Beach Office. She prepares Federal and State Income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. Elizabeth earned her Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Southeastern University and joined the firm in 2018. She is a Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) member.

Michelle Neal

Tax Manager

Michelle has over 15 years of Tax Experience. She specializes in corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns for Federal and State purposes. The Palm Beach clients she works on are in the following industries: construction, real estate, and medical practices. She is also familiar with foreign tax filings and not-for-profit tax returns. She has a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of North Florida. She joined the firm in 2021.

Brian Young 

Tax Manager

Brian joined the firm in 2018 and has over 7 years of experience in tax with a specialization in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation including multistate tax compliance. Brian holds a bachelors degree in accounting from the University of Central Florida.

Brian Sieglar

Tax Manager

Brian joined the firm in 2024 and has over 8 years of experience in public accounting. He specializes in corporate, partnership, high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates. Brian holds a bachelors degree and masters degree in accounting from the University of Central Florida.

Erik Oram

Tax Manager

Erik joined the firm in 2024 and has over 8 years of experience in public accounting with a specialization in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation. He joined MKA as part of the MSH merger in 2024. Erik holds a masters degree in accounting from the University of Central
Florida.

Matt Ringler

Tax Manager

Matt joined the firm in 2024 and has over 20 years of experience in taxation with a specialization in business entities. Prior to joining MKA, he worked in Big Four accounting, private law practice, and in-house with a publicly traded timber REIT. Matt holds a bachelors degree from the University of Virginia, a masters degree in accounting from the University of North Carolina, a law degree from Washington and Lee University, and a master of laws degree with a concentration in taxation from the University of Florida.

Darlene Rogers

Tax Manager

Darlene has over 40 years of experience in small business accounting and taxation with a specialization in corporate and individual taxation. She joined MKA as part of the Gelber and Company merger in 2024. Darlene holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida
International University.

Veronica Villadiego Sant'ana

Tax Manager

Veronica joined the firm in 2024 and has over 10 years of experience in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation. She has a specialization in entities that operate across multiple states. Veronica holds a bachelors in accounting and masters in taxation from Florida International
University.

 

Maggie Drummond

Tax Manager

Maggie joined the firm in 2025 and has over 10 years of experience in accounting with a specialization in taxation. Before joining the firm, she held various roles in the accounting field while also earning her real estate license. Maggie holds a bachelors degree in accounting from
the University of Florida and a masters degree from the University of West Florida.

AUDIT

Rich Cassidy, MBA

Audit Manager

Rich has developed an expertise in real estate, non-profit, and governmental entities. He joined the firm in 2011 and has over seven years of experience with Uniform Guidance auditing. Rich works on all of our Early Learning Coalition, charter school, and real estate audits. He has a BS in Accounting and a MBA from University of Central Florida.

Justin Cabral, CPA

Audit Manager

Justin has developed an expertise in non-profit and governmental entities. Justin works on our charter school, non-profits, professional employer organization audits and Federal and state single audits with multiple grant sources. He joined the firm in 2013. Justin has a a BS in Accounting and MS in Accounting from University of Central Florida.

Priscilla Delgado

Audit Manager

Priscilla’s expertise lies in real estate, construction, 401(k) plans, and non-profit audits, including those performed under the Uniform Guidance. She joined the firm in 2013 and is now well versed in the assurance realm. Priscilla also assists with the firm’s Quality Control processes and has attended training at the AICPA’s National Peer Review Conference. She has both a BS and MS in Accounting from the University of Central Florida, with a minor in Hospitality, and is fluent in Spanish and English.

Katia Filippucci

Audit Manager

Katia joined the firm in 2016. She has developed an expertise in audits, reviews and compilation of financial statements for Real Estate, Construction, and Non-Profit Organizations, including experience with governmental audits under the Uniform Guidance. Katia also sat on the panel of the 10th Annual Women in Accounting Symposium, hosted by UCF’s School of Accounting, advising future female accounting professionals. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

Jon Duffy

Audit Manager

Jon joined the firm in 2016 and has developed an expertise in auditing commercial and non-profit entities. He works on our for-profit, non-profit, and charter schools, and has experience with Uniform Guidance auditing. He holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from University of Central Florida.

Alexandra Filippucci

Audit Manager

Alexandra joined the firm in 2022 with a strong background in corporate accounting. She has developed an expertise in audits of financial statements for Non-Profit Organizations, including experience with governmental audits under the Uniform Guidance. Throughout her accounting career, she worked on several acquisitions. In addition, she helped develop a complex revenue recognition accounting software for a Fortune 500 company. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance.

Kyle Goldman, CPA

Audit Manager

Kyle spent several years providing audit and review services at two of the Big 4 accounting firms before joining MKA in 2023. His primary focus includes auditing business combinations as well as carve-outs of operating components for sale in addition to identifying operational efficiencies for private and closely held entities. Kyle looks forward to working directly with clients to help identify those efficiencies in processes as well as performing audit and attest services for legal, regulatory, and fiduciary compliance. Practice specializations include Audit & Review Services, Technical Accounting Advisory Services, Manufacturing, Mining & Minerals, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, Higher Education, and Public Utilities.

Chris Bobek, CPA

Senior Audit Manager

Chris has developed an expertise auditing financial services and non-profit entities. He joined the firm in 2024 with 11+ years of experience at a top 10 public accounting firm. Chris’ focus is on our construction and non-profit clients including federal and state single audits. Chris holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Forensic Accounting from the University of South Florida.

Michelle Barth

Audit Manager

Michelle joined the firm in 2018 and has over 6 years of experience in nonprofit audits, specializing in Uniform Guidance and state single audits involving multiple grant sources. She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Central Florida.

ACCOUNTING

Ana M. Mendaña, CPA

Director

Ana joined the firm in 2007 and has more than 30 years of public accounting and tax experience. Her expertise lies mainly in small to medium-size businesses, family wealth, real estate ventures, and import/export. Prior to her time at Moss Krusick, she worked at PWC-Miami for 6 years. She is a graduate of Florida International University (FIU).

Bonnie Spencer

Director of Client Accounting Services

Bonnie currently manages over 100 monthly and quarterly accounting clients including financial statement preparation and review, sales tax and payroll returns. She joined the firm in 2005 and is involved in numerous accounting software implementations, such as QuickBooks, for a variety of industries. Bonnie has a BS in Accounting from University of Central Florida. She is a Certified QuickBooks Advisor.

Lee Stolar, MBA

Lee Stolar, MBA

Client Accounting Services Manager

Lee joined the firm in 2013. He has overseen the implementation of numerous accounting updates and programs. He has a BS in management from SUNY Farmingdale and an MBA from Everest University. Lee has also attended and graduated the Leadership program in Winter Park and still volunteers at various events for the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce.

Fernando Alvarado

Accounting Manager

Fernando joined the firm in 2025 with over 10 years of public accounting experience, specializing in small and mid-sized businesses in construction, manufacturing, and restaurants industries. His specialty is outsourced accounting & advisory, GAAP compliance, business
process optimization, and financial statements preparation. Fernando holds an MBA and a bachelors in accounting from the University of Central Florida.

FIRM OPERATIONS

Craig Forness

Chief Executive Officer

Craig joined the firm in 2023. He has over 25 years of experience ranging from Management Consulting with Deloitte, to leading a retail tax franchise with over 75 locations. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and an MBA from the University of Florida.

Deborah Kinney

Director of Operations

Debbie rejoined the firm in 2016, progressively enhancing her expertise through various administrative roles. Her extensive contribution to MKA includes HR, payroll, benefit administration, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset management, property management, recruiting coordinator, and special projects.


ADMINISTRATION

Brenda Yodlowski

Director of Operations

Brenda joined the North Palm Beach office in 2017 and serves as Director of Operations. She has over 20 years of experience in the accounting industry. Brenda graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
